Narborough and Littlethorpe Light Railway
Welcome to the online home of the Narborough and Littlethorpe Light Railway. The N.L.L.R is a preserved railway running through rural Leicestershire, connecting the villages of Narborough, Littlethorpe and Enderby. As well as operating a vintage passenger service the line also serves the smaller quarrys on the outskirts of Croft and Huncote, connecting them with Road and canal services in Littlethorpe.
The N.L.L.R has recently been taken up pending a house move. The railway will be rebuilt at the new location bigger (hopefully) and better than before, drawing on what I have learnt from building and operating the original. Now that I have a prominent and fixed history inside my head this will allow me to build the new line as a railway instead of a loop of track.
